The company was founded in 1984, and was originally called Rent-a-PC, Inc. Originally, Rent-a-PC focused on providing premium-quality computer rental solutions to the corporate and professional community. In 2007, recognizing that our business had grown well beyond that of just “renting PC’s”, we changed our name to SmartSource Computer & Audio Visual Rentals to better reflect the breadth and depth of our service offerings.
