On February 26th-27th, 2009, SmartSource Computer and Audio Visual Rentals featured industry leading products and technology services that are both cutting edge and environmentally sensitive. New York City Product Showcase

On January 15th-16th, 2009, SmartSource Computer and Audio Visual Rentals featured industry leading products and technology services that are both cutting edge and environmentally sesitive. The event was held at the Carlton Hotel on Madison Avenue in New York City and drew a better than expected attendance proving a lot of businesses are interested in some of the new products offered by SmartSource.

SmartSource had a full array of high-end digital, audio and lighting equipment. The 3×3 Orion Plasma Video Wall was an early crowd favorite, along with some interactive features on Digital Signage and other technology from Popstar Networks.

Digital Signage

Digital Signage is quickly becoming a more popular solution for displaying dynamic information in multiple locations at conferences, tradeshows, or large expos.

What is Digital Signage: (aka: Digital Signs, Dynamic Signs,  Electronic Signs etc)

If you have ever looked at the flight arrival/departure screens in an airport, LCD screens at a conference center displaying different room or meetings information, or even the small flat screens with weather or news updates found in some modern elevators or taxi cabs then you have seen digital signage. In a nutshell, digital signs and digital signage is when you have information being displayed on large monitors or screens that is all centrally controlled or dynamic. It can also be combined with touch screen monitors to offer a more interactive experience.
