SmartSource Rentals has announced that Jeffrey Byrne will direct the company’s trade show sales to grow rentals of audio visual, lead retrieval, digital signage and related exhibition services.

SmartSource Computer & Audio Visual Rentals, one of the nation’s leading providers of computer, audio visual (AV) and trade show technology rentals and services, has announced the appointment of Jeffrey C. Byrne as Senior Director, Exhibition Sales. In this role, Mr. Byrne will apply an extensive career of senior sales experience to manage SmartSource’s exhibitor sales group, provide strategic direction to retain and grow the company’s trade show sales and develop new key accounts for exhibitor rentals.

Byrne has extensive knowledge in key account management, new market development and channel partner alliances. In his last position as Managing Director of International Event Management, Inc., he was crucial to developing and providing international solutions for his clients and growing the business in a rapid, ever expanding market place. Prior to International Event Management, he served as Corporate Director – International Business Development with Freeman and Chief Sales Officer for EWI Worldwide.
Byrne holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York and is an active member of IAEE (International Association of Exhibitions and Events), IFES (Internationals Federation of Exhibition Service Contractors) and AES (Asian Exhibition Services).
