Technology solutions from SmartSource Rentals can include a huge variety of things and it is hard to sum up in a few words. SmartSource offices nationwide have provided everything from notebook and laptop rentals to full service event productions with sound, lighting and Audio Visual. A good way to quickly visualize some of the solutions SmartSource Rentals provides is by using a word cloud.

smartsource-rentals-cloud

Using a great word cloud creation site to generate  a visual cloud was easier than one might think and almost immediately created a great visual interpretation of many of the things the company has to offer. Judging from the word cloud created using pages from the SmartSource Rentals website, the main themes include technology, event, courtroom, trade show, rentals and of course SmartSource. This is a great representation and pretty accurate.

Technology Rentals:

This one is a no brainer for SmartSource. The company has a multi-million dollar inventory of technology rental equipment including computers, laptops, plasma displays, LCD’s, Kiosks, Projectors, Speakers, Microphones and more.

Event Rentals:

This could be just about any event but generally involves larger business events or full scale AV productions. Trade shows, conventions, user conferences and corporate training events are the most common and large scale events such as the ING New York City Marathon are not uncommon.

Courtroom Rentals:

Litigation usually involves specific technology and experience configuring rental equipment properly to ensure that it not only works but that it is setup in a way that certain members of the courtroom can or can not see certain things. Overhead projectors, flat screen monitors and closed circuit video is some of the more common technology.

Trade Show:

As the official to more than 300 Trade Shows every year and countless involvement providing technology rental equipment and services to many others, SmartSource can be considered trade show technology experts. New digital signs and display offerings and interactive touch screen kiosks are particularly popular.

Cause for Celebration in Chicago

Chicago Born Illinois National Guard soldier Hector Nunez recently returned from Mexico with his wife and son after Congressman Luis Gutierrez intervened in an effort to secure a humanitarian visa for Nunez’s wife, Rosa. Nunez is a valued member of the SmartSource Rentals Chicago branch operation and is currently preparing to leave for Afghanistan. His return to Chicago with his wife and son is truly a cause for joy this holiday season.

On the advice of an attorney, Nunez’s wife Rosa, who came to the US when she was six years old, returned to Mexico a few months ago in an effort to obtain legal status. The couple has been married since 2005 and has a two year old son, Jason. Nunez states that his wife was deported after receiving poor legal advice. After arriving in Mexico, Rosa was told it would be close to 10 years before she would be able to return to Chicago. Friends and family enlisted the help of Congressman Luis Gutierrez to help in securing a one-year humanitarian visa.

On December 20, 2010, the Nunez family returned from Mexico to a welcomed homecoming at O’Hare’s Terminal 5.
