SmartSource Computer & Audio Visual Rentals Announces the Appointment of Rod Hall as Manager of Trade Show Services
SmartSource Computer & Audio Visual Rentals (Hauppauge, NY, www.smartsourcerentals.com), one of the nation’s leading providers of computer, audio visual (AV) and trade show technology rentals and services, announced that Rod Hall has joined the company as Manager of Trade Show Services. In this role, Hall will supervise all trade show related functions, including monitoring and providing sales administration and operational resource support to the company’s inside sales team, as well as revenue management. He brings to the position extensive trade show marketing, sales management, client relations and negotiations, product management, scheduling and inventory management experience. He will be based in the company’s Orlando, Florida office.

Directly prior to joining SmartSource, Hall served as founder and President of Exhibit Structures, Inc. (Orlando, FL), a design, build and service firm focusing on trade show exhibits and corporate interior/exterior environments. His career also includes his position as Vice President-General Manager at Southeast Exhibit Productions, Inc./CEP Exhibit Productions (Orlando, FL), where he was responsible for the day-to-day business operations of its Orlando division. While at CEP, he restructured the company and business focus resulting in significant cost reductions and bottom line efficiencies. He was also credited with creating and developing the Miami market and addressing the growing Hispanic business market. Among his other roles was that as a private consultant for trade show marketing and sales, Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch and Account Executive with Morgan Stanley Dean Witter.
Hall graduated from the University of Akron with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Major in Marketing. His professional affiliations include the Healthcare Convention & Exhibitors Association and the Exhibitor Appointed Contractors Association.
He resides in Windermere, Florida.
